The analogue miracle for fine listening
Giglio sums up the history and ideas of Gold Note, in what is to all intents and purposes considered one of the company’s best creations: it reinterprets the classic turntable shape using high-quality materials and technical solutions that combine respect for tradition and cutting-edge technology. The plinth design is inspired by the catenary curve, one of the great inventions of the Renaissance, giving it greater structural rigidity and offering a surprisingly precise musical experience.
The lower plinth is made of selected Italian materials, such as walnut wood, which provides exceptional elasticity, strength and solidity. The wooden base rests on three elegant adjustable feet made of anodised aluminium.
Giglio features a 33 mm high-density POM platter and a pivot/well system designed for maximum precision. The hourglass-shaped pulley allows for constant belt movement and significantly reduces wow & flutter and rumble.
The 12-volt synchronous motor was specially developed to ensure perfect audio reproduction. Powered by a proprietary control system based on a Quadral-Core micro-processor, the motor eliminates vibration and guarantees high motor torque for the best performance in terms of sound dynamics and resolution. The power supply unit enables electronic control of the 33⅓rpm and 45rpm speed, allowing the set parameters to be memorised.
